Trans-Alp: Munich to Venice Photo Epic

Trans-Alp: Munich to Venice Photo Epic

We’re not going to bore you with details about this whole trip, but here are 8 days worth of riding through the Alps crammed into one very short photo essay… But, If you’re interested in what it took to put this together, the costs and the gear… Drop us a mail. We’ll help you out as much as we can. We are benevolent Gods after all…

Leaving Munich bright and early for a quick 106km pedal.

The scoots all lined up. Mondraker Factor, Giant Anthem, Specialized Enduro.

Into the actual Alps now and the views are improving…

My brother celebrating climbing victory… about 11k vert meters premature…

And so the climbs wind on never ending…

Don’t panic. There’s trails to climb as well…

When you’re the first one up the mountain, you get to take pictures of the losers…

Views for days!

And the theme continued for the full 8 days…

After climbing this…

You look like this…

There’s also trails that go down…

And the views continue.

The problem with being ‘down’ is you know you need to go back ‘up’.

This climb was absolutely savage…

But the view was worth it… Once you got the taste of vomit out your mouth…

Water in a valley…

Water falling from the sky…

When the rain threatened to clear… but didn’t.

The next day was clear skys, and big climbs. Actually… Every day is big climbs…

You get up pretty high each day.

Fire road down.

A liesurely pedal on day 8 with vietually no climbing. Just gellato and chilled vibes.

The barge graveyard outside Treviso.

Crossing the birdge into Venice and done!

Munich to Venice in 8 days, 550km and 11,500 vert meters. Done and dusted. Well worth it in my books!
